I grew up poor and was 5 years old when we slaughtered the chickens for the first time in my memory..cut off their heads...removed their bowels and fat...and took off the feathers......those chickens lived on a family farm and ate natural and had a HUGE area to cluck and lay...no cages...thinking of farming again...there is a way to farm without HELL for those animals...our Sow was spoiled rotten too...our cows roamed free too....a LOT of work though..and NOT doable in the property I live in now. Without industrial slaughter how are we to feed 6 BILLION people? With a lot of agri-resources earmarked for Bio-fuels? Just asking....
